Project ZOM is an NFT project centered around the launch of the Zombies of the Metaverse collection, a 10,000-item digital art collection. The project focused on driving community engagement and user acquisition through innovative marketing strategies, influencer partnerships, and viral social campaigns. The goal was to create a sustainable, engaged community around the NFT space while adapting to the rapidly evolving Web3 landscape.
As the Founding Product Marketing Manager, I co-authored the product roadmap and led the marketing strategy to launch and promote the collection. My responsibilities included overseeing influencer marketing campaigns, building partnerships, and developing viral social campaigns to grow the community on platforms like Twitter, Discord, and Reddit.
The NFT space was experiencing rapid growth, but many projects struggled to build sustainable communities and maintain engagement post-launch. Project ZOM aimed to stand out by not only delivering high-quality digital art but also focusing on long-term community engagement and adapting to the evolving trends in Web3.
The rapidly evolving NFT and Web3 spaces required us to continuously adapt our strategies to remain competitive. Building and maintaining community engagement post-launch was a challenge that required ongoing efforts in communication, events, and influencer involvement.
Working on Project ZOM reinforced the importance of community engagement in the NFT space. Building a long-term, loyal community was critical to the project’s success, and adapting quickly to Web3 trends allowed us to maintain relevance in a fast-moving industry.
